Hello, my name is Tracy Goodlesky. Students call me Mrs. Goodlesky, but adults are welcome to call me Tracy. This school year will be my 25th year of teaching first grade at Longacre and I'm really looking forward to another fabulous year. First grade is my passion and if you don't already know, first graders are the BEST!
I live with my husband, Sean of 20 years in Plymouth, and wish I could also say our beloved dog Deoji (pronounced the way you would spell dog, d-o-g). Unfortunately, Deoji is no longer with us physically, but will always be close in our hearts. He was with us just shy of nine years before bone cancer took him away on January 23, 2013. We have not had the heart to adopt another dog; our hearts are with our sweet, beloved Deoji.
This summer I sharpened my saw with a little bit of gardening (I'm growing tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchini), reading (I really enjoy historical fiction), kayaking, yoga, motorcycle rides, and short trips to different places in Michigan (U.P., Gaylord, Caseville, Buchanan). I love being active, but am certainly not opposed to relaxing with a good book, watching a TV show or a movie.
